Bashed’s Commitment to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

Bashed Clothing (“Bashed” or the “Company”) is committed to ensuring that every step of our supply chain reflects our values of integrity, responsibility, and respect for the people who make our products. We take meaningful measures to prevent human trafficking, forced labor, and any form of involuntary work within the sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and sale of our goods.

Regardless of where our products are made, all partners and vendors must meet the requirements of our Supplier Code of Conduct, which is grounded in internationally recognized labor standards. Bashed strictly prohibits the use of child labor, forced labor, trafficked labor, or any form of involuntary labor in the creation of our products.

California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB657)

This law requires companies to disclose their efforts to address human trafficking and slavery within their supply chains. Our disclosures are outlined below.

1. Verification of Supply Chains

Bashed evaluates and monitors our supply chain to identify and address risks related to human trafficking and forced labor. We conduct routine reviews—both announced and unannounced—either through our internal team or qualified third-party compliance partners.

2. Supplier Audits

We audit factories and suppliers to assess compliance with Bashed’s standards. Audits may include on-site visits, documentation review, and worker interviews. All suppliers must allow full access to facilities, records, and personnel during business hours. Failure to comply may lead to corrective action or termination.

3. Supplier Certifications

All direct suppliers must certify that materials incorporated into Bashed products comply with all applicable laws related to forced labor and human trafficking in the countries where they operate. Suppliers must comply with all labor, employment, health, and safety regulations.

4. Accountability & Corrective Action

Bashed maintains internal accountability standards for employees, contractors, and suppliers. Violations of our Code of Conduct may result in corrective action, including termination of employment or business relationships. Serious or unresolved violations lead to immediate partnership termination.

5. Training & Education

Employees with direct responsibility for supply chain oversight receive training on identifying, preventing, and mitigating risks related to human trafficking and forced labor. Training includes compliance expectations and evaluation procedures.
